Keeping On Schedule

Transportation Product Catalog(PDF format)
In an industry where responsiveness, convenience and reliability are key, it is no surprise to discover direct thermal is the primary technology for ticket or identification printing. The effectiveness and economics of the hardware combined with the versatility and precision of Appleton's thermal paper ensures customers move on schedule.

A product used for applications such as parking lot tickets or airline tickets must stand up to the rigors of the environment for extended periods of time. Specially designed direct thermal products deliver the necessary resistance and composition to help the ticket converter apply a variety of security devices.

Appleton's HeatSafe® products are premium direct thermal ticket materials with excellent resistance and amazing heat stability at temperatures up to 176°F (80°C). When heat resistance is not a requirement, PressPro® provides eye-catching press printing graphics on the reverse side. Alternatively, Résiste® is designed for excellent resistance to handling.

Other available products include the Alpha® grades for economical, general-purpose short duration use and the PolyTherm® film-based grades for added strength or resistance to tear needed with applications such as baggage tags or parking violations.
